For members of the Soils Course, the next session will be discussing phosphorus, on Thursday 28th April, 9.30 – 10.30 online (please note the amended time for this session).
We will be discussing:
• Introduction: global supply challenges and P distribution in soil.
• Analysis: what Olsen P does and doesn’t tell us.
• The challenge of target concentrations, and the importance of soil buffer factors.
• Practical P management including effects of soil chemistry, monitoring and interpreting results, and some ideas for the future.
